Hi, I’m Nnenna!
A 30-something book lover living in NYC (Brooklyn specifically). I’m originally from California, but I’ve been living in NYC for 13+ years, so I like to say that both coasts have my heart.
I love the feeling of a fresh manicure, books that grab me and don’t let me go, handwritten notes, sweet treats, a daily cup of tea, lipstick that makes me feel polished and put together, and pretty stationery.
I’ve always loved sharing bits of my life online, starting with a blog back in 2010, then a YouTube channel in 2014 and my bookstagram in 2015, TikTok in 2021, and most recently Threads in 2023. Blogging was my original love, so I’m excited to get back to long-form content here on Substack. When I’m not yapping online, you can find me snuggled up at home with my husband and cat, Milton, or working my day job in advertising.
What will this newsletter be about?
You can expect book reviews and recs, ideas and inspiration for your journal, outfits I’m styling and things on my wishlist, as well as highlights from my daily life and links to things I find interesting.
The plan is for this to be a biweekly newsletter + a monthly round-up of all the books I finished that month (so at least 3 posts a month). I have some ideas of other things that I’d like include in the future, including author interviews and personal essays, so stay tuned for that.
Is this free or paid?
